Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Darey Art Alade has sparked discussions online after revealing his top 3 Nigerian artists during a recent interview.

In a video that has gained attention on social media platforms, Darey Art Alade excluded Davido from his list and instead named his top 3 Afrobeats artists.

During an interview with Hip TV following the exclusive opening of Zlatan Ibile’s luxurious walk-in store, ZTTW, alongside other celebrities, Darey Art Alade shared his top 3 picks.

He began by selecting Tiwa Savage, emphasizing that she deserves more recognition for her talent and contributions to the industry. Darey highlighted Tiwa Savage’s ability to compete with any Nigerian artist, emphasizing her talent, hit songs, work ethic, and consistency. He stressed the importance of including female artists in the conversation and competition.

Darey Art Alade also included Burna Boy in his list of top Nigerian artists, acknowledging his impact and influence on the music scene.

Finally, Darey concluded his list by adding Wizkid, recognizing his significance and success in the Nigerian music industry.

While traditionally, the top Nigerian artistes have been referred to as the “big”3″—Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy – Darey Art Alade’s exclusion of Davido from his list has sparked discussions and raised eyebrows among fans and followers.
