Mayorkun Shares Eye-Opening Experience from First Visit to Davido’s Mansion
Renowned Nigerian musician Mayorkun recently shared intriguing insights into his initial visit to fellow singer Davido’s home.
During an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Mayorkun recounted the memorable occasion, shedding light on his first encounter with Davido and their collaborative journey within the same record label.
Reflecting on his visit, Mayor recalled being amazed by the bustling atmosphere of Davido’s household, revealing that approximately two hundred individuals resided there.
He vividly described the vibrant scene of people enjoying themselves, courtesy of Davido’s hospitality. Recalling the event, Mayor reminisced, “When I met Davido and visited his house, there were up to 200 people living there. Later that day, I witnessed a lively gathering with Davido’s guests thoroughly enjoying themselves.”
Despite the festive ambience, Mayorkun’s dedication to his craft remained unwavering, as he declined Davido’s invitation to join the club scene, expressing his eagerness to commence their collaborative musical journey.

Another story says that following the singer’s fan’s description of him as a “mid singer,” BNXN, formerly known as Buju, became the topic of heated discussions on the internet. He claims that Davido does not know his music.
BNXN took offense at this, labelling the fan a moron for referring to him as a mid-level artist. He continued by saying that he has no moral authority to discuss music since he is aware of his favorite shows.
