Rihanna, the renowned singer and billionaire, has expressed regret over her past nude fashion choices. As a mother of two, she reflects on her previous bikini fashion with a sense of disbelief, questioning if she truly embraced such revealing styles. Parenthood has profoundly influenced her current fashion sensibilities, leading to a shift in her approach to clothing and appearance.

“It is going to sound hypocritic but… I did so much sh*t in my life. I had my nipples out, my panties out,” she told Vogue.

“But now those are the things that I guess as a mum and evolved young lady, I would never do. I’m just like, ‘Oh! My God, I really did that?”

Recall, Rihannais gearing up to extend her Fenty Beauty empire into China marking a significant expansion for the company. Prior to the overseas launch, the music and cosmetics mogul graced the cover of Vogue China’s April issue.

Several Instagram photos shared by the publication today (March 26) offered glimpses of their interview with Rihanna. In these excerpts, Rihanna delved into various topics, including her perspective on individuality, cultural identity, and the journey of finding confidence through motherhood.

“Personal interpretation: This is the beauty of makeup. These [products] are just the tools we give people to express their personal creativity, whatever their mood, whatever they want to convey,” Rihanna shared. “It’s fun, and that’s how it should be… It feels special to be recognized by professional makeup artists, artists, and [the] people.”

Discussing the significance of braids as a means of self-expression and their importance to various ethnic groups, the “Needed Me” singer explained, “This is a form of protection of our roots and a tradition left by our ancestors… [It] makes us realize where we’ve come from. This is our lost history. I immediately wanted my children to have their hair braided… It’s something in our blood.”
