    The Abuja Municipal Area Council has announced plans to honor Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, and his nephew David Adeleke by naming streets after them.

    This recognition is a tribute to Governor Adeleke’s contributions to infrastructural development in Osun State and Davido’s impact in the entertainment industry.

    The announcement was made in a statement by the spokesperson for the Osun State Governor, Olawale Rasheed, on Twitter on Tuesday.

    According to the statement, Governor Ademola Adeleke has been nominated for the honor of having a street named after him, recognizing his remarkable contributions to infrastructural development in Osun State.

    Additionally, Davido will have a street named after him in Abuja to acknowledge his significant contributions to the entertainment industry.

    The council’s letter outlined the achievements of both individuals and invited them to confirm their formal acceptance of this nomination. Davido’s response on his Instagram story, featuring emojis of the Nigerian flag and one symbolizing growth, has sparked excitement among fans.

    The BET Experience 2024 is set to feature a stellar lineup headlined by Afrobeat sensation Davido, alongside American artist Cardi B, Sexxy Red, and other acclaimed performers.

    Scheduled to take place from June 26 to 28, 2024, the BET Experience is a week-long celebration of entertainment and culture. The lineup includes late-night comedy series featuring Chris Spencer, Michael Blackson, and Tiffany Haddish.

    The concerts, headlined by Cardi B, Davido, Queen Latifah, Common, and The Roots, mark the triumphant return of the BET Experience in Los Angeles, just days before the 2024 BET Awards.

    This eagerly awaited event returns after a five-year hiatus due to the pandemic, with Cardi B, Gunna, Davido, and Sexyy Red set to perform on June 28 at Crypto.com Arena, while The Roots, Common, Queen Latifah, and Jungle Brothers will captivate the audience on June 29 at the iconic Hollywood Bowl.
