American rapper, Nicki Minaj, has imprinted her name in music history as the most successful touring female rapper, according to “Touring Data”.
On March 30, 2024, Nicki Minaj shattered records by delivering a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York that grossed an astounding $2.858 million. This achievement makes her the female rapper with the highest-grossing single concert in history.
Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour has officially become the most successful tour by a female rapper. In its first 17 shows, the tour grossed an impressive $34.9 million from the sale of 220,000 tickets.
Touring Data tweeted: “@NICKIMINAJ’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ officially becomes the most successful tour by a female rapper in history, with $34.9 million from 220,000 tickets sold in its first 17 shows.”
Remarkably, Nicki Minaj achieved this feat by earning $34.9 million from just 30 percent of the entire tour.
Anticipation is high as she is expected to reach a staggering $100 million by the end of the tour later this year.
Meanwhile, in February the singer hinted to drop a collaboration with Nigeria’s heavyweight, Burna Boy.
