2Baba fondly recalled how he created his debut album, “Face 2 Face,” in the studio courtesy of Kenny Ogungbe and Kennis Music. He described the atmosphere as nostalgic and expressed gratitude towards Kenny for the opportunity.
Released in 2004, “Face 2 Face” marked 2Baba’s solo debut and quickly became a sensation in Nigeria, selling over 2 million copies in a short period. The album’s popularity also extended internationally, largely due to the smash hit “African Queen.”
