Singer, Bagetti has kickstarted her music journey with this new single Hard Girl.
Jonzing World’s latest signee, Bagetti has released her debut single titled, Hard Girl.
Just yesterday, the singer was unveiled as the first female artiste of the record label which has been the home to superstars Rema and Ruger.
Hard Girl is her first delivery and a great start to understanding the context of her musical journey.
It sheds light on her journey of self-expression, sparked by an unplanned “breakfast” moment, which she believes was undeniably necessary.
In the song, the new Jonzing singer marks the anthem as one who has tasted the vile of men and their deceitful tongue.
In her lyrics, she sidesteps misery and chooses to move on assuredly. “Eye wey dey cry no dey see road,” she sings on the second verse, invoking a popular Nigerian parlance.
“Hard Girl” marks an impressive debut for Bagetti, showcasing her talent for transforming relatable experiences into profound moments.
However, the expressive expectation to behold her uniqueness is not unlocked. Listeners may notice similarities between her sound and that of Ayra Starr, suggesting possible inspiration for her musical style or not just being creative enough to bring something new onboard.
Alongside her new single is the announcement of her debut studio EP, New Dawn, set to be released on March 15. It will be a solo delivery, housing six songs.
