    Taylor Swift, SZA, Billie Eilish Set Records at 66th Grammy Awards

    The 66th Grammy Awards, held on February 5, 2024, in Los Angeles, saw numerous music luminaries such as Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, SZA, Kacey Musgraves, and others shatter various records.

    Taylor Swift achieved a historic feat by becoming the first artist to clinch Album of the Year four times, triumphing with “Midnights.”

    Billie Eilish joined an elite club as only the second woman ever to secure two Song of the Year trophies, claiming victory with ‘What Was I Made For‘, while Victoria Monét surpassed Sheryl Crow’s record as the oldest solo artist to win Best New Artist.

    Furthermore, Boygenius became the first all-female group to win in both the Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song categories, while Kacey Musgraves became the first artist to ever win all four country awards at the Grammys after winning for “I Remember Everything.”

    Big Four Categories:

    Album of the Year:
    – Taylor Swift secured her fourth win, setting a new record and surpassing Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra.
    – Swift also extended her lead as the most awarded female artist in this category.

    Best New Artist:
    – Victoria Monét became the oldest solo artist to win, breaking Sheryl Crow’s record.
    – Monét also contributed to a record-equalling streak for consecutive wins by a solo female artist.

    Song of the Year:
    – Billie Eilish and Finneas joined a select group of songwriters with two wins each.
    – Eilish joined Adele as the only women to achieve this feat.

    Genre-Specific Categories:

    Pop Categories:
    – Taylor Swift joined an elite group as one of the most awarded artists in Best Pop Vocal Album.
    – SZA joined Lady Gaga as a two-time winner in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

    Country Categories:
    – Kacey Musgraves became the first artist to win all four country categories at the Grammys.

    Visual Media Categories:
    – The Beatles secured their second win in the Best Music Video category.

    Latin Music Categories:
    – Rubén Blades extended his record in the Best Tropical Latin Album category.

    Rock & Metal Categories:
    – Boygenius made history as the first all-female group to win in Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance.

    Dance/Electronic Recording:
    – Skrillex extended his record in the Best Dance/Electronic Recording category.

    American Roots & Americana Categories:
    – Jason Isbell secured his third win in both Best American Roots Song and Best Americana Album categories.

    Gospel & Christian Categories:
    – Kirk Franklin extended his lead as the most awarded artist in Best Gospel Performance/Song.

    Instrumental Categories:
    – Jacob Collier tied for the most wins in the Best Arrangement Instrumental and Vocals category.

    Production:
    – Jack Antonoff tied Babyface for the most consecutive wins in the Producer of the Year, Non-classical category.

    These remarkable achievements highlight the diversity and talent celebrated at the Grammy Awards.
