“All Nigerians wanted was good life” – Rapper, Erigga laments over worsening hardship
Nigerian hip-hop star Erigga has expressed concern about the escalating cost of foodstuffs, the unfavorable exchange rate, and general hardship in the country, attributing these challenges to poor leadership.
The rapper expressed his love for the country but conveyed his weariness as things continue to deteriorate, making it difficult for people to afford basic necessities. Erigga lamented the current exchange rate, stating that the naira is now $1/N1500, leading to hardships such as cooking a pot of stew with limited resources.
Posting on his official Twitter account, Erigga highlighted the dissatisfaction many Nigerians feel as a result of high living expenses and economic issues, asking in a series of postings who the citizens offended to be exposed to such hardship.
Erigga tweeted, “All Nigerians wanted was Good life no be this YEYE POT OF STEW WHEN DEM DEY USE ₦1500/$1 cook … WHO WE OFFEND self ?
