She was honoured Rooke Of The Year At Galaxy Music Awards.
Mavin Records’ newest signee, rapper, Banigo Apiagi Treasure popularly known by her stage name, LifeSize Teddy, has won her first-ever career award as Rookie of the Year at the just concluded Galaxy Music Awards.
Since her breakout into the music spotlight, LifeSize Teddy has gone ahead to release her debut EP titled “POISN” consisting of five songs which showcase her creative fusion of rap and Afrobeats, a hip-hop sub-genre which has not really fetched success for female artists in the continent.
They may seem to be hope as LifeSize Teddy has clinched the rookie of the year awards from Galaxy Music Awards, a prestigious platform that celebrates the achievements of very talented music acts from the South-South and South-East regions of Nigeria respectively.
Announcing this significant win on her IG page, she expressed her gratitude for the recognition, acknowledging the significance of the award as well as dedicated it to a demised individual considered special to her.
She wrote “won the first award of my career in PH! feels good to be recognized by my city. I will always represent you. thank you @galaxymusicawards for opening road for all my plaques. This is significant for me. This is for Amuche. This will always be for Amuche”
