Why you should never envy a successful man – Rapper Erigga
Nigerian hip-hop artist Erigga has shared some advice on social media, cautioning against envying the success of wealthy men. He emphasized that success comes with many untold stories, urging people not to be envious of others.
On Twitter, Erigga wrote, “Envy no man cause that place of success which you see them has many stories.” This statement resonated with fans who agreed with the rapper’s perspective on avoiding the destructive emotion of envy.
In another post, Erigga directed advice towards women, suggesting that they should not endure hardship with a boyfriend, lover, or husband. Instead, he encouraged them to seek out someone wealthy, akin to their father.
He tweeted, “Don’t suffer with any guy, Find a billionaire like your father 💐” — offering a humorous take on seeking financial stability in relationships.

Recall, Rapper Erigga has voiced his perspective on why, in his view, a financially successful man should have the liberty to be in relationships with multiple women without being subjected to societal judgment.
He argued that society should not dictate the number of partners a man can have when he becomes affluent.
Erigga explained that society often perpetuates the stereotype that men should not be involved with women if they lack financial prosperity.
Consequently, he believes that if men eventually attain financial success, they should be entitled to pursue relationships with multiple partners without encountering criticism for their choices.
The ‘Paper Boi‘ artist conveyed these views during a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria in Lagos.
He said; “A society that tells the guy you are not supposed to have a woman until you have money should not tell the person how many women he can have when he has that money”.
