South African pop sensation Tyla has placed Afrobeats superstar Wizkid on the same level as music greats like Michael Jackson, Rihanna, and Drake. During an interview on the Bianca Show, when asked about her top five greatest musicians of all time, the 21-year-old artist mentioned Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Drake, and Wizkid.
Tyla explained that Wizkid earned his place on the list due to his longevity and impact on the African music scene. This acknowledgment reflects Wizkid’s influence and recognition beyond the continent, highlighting his contributions to the global music landscape.
She said, “My top five musical artists of all-time, obviously, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Drake… It is always difficult to find the last one. There’s so many but I will say Wizkid. He has been around so long and has done so much for the culture and the genre [African music], so I definitely put him there.”
In other news, Tyla opened up about her preferences for men. In a chat on the Bianca show, the 21-year-old Grammy nominee revealed that she is not fond of guys who directly approach her.
