Nigerian artist and music executive David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has marked the one-year anniversary of the passing of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr, who tragically drowned in their Banana Island mansion’s swimming pool.
Davido took to his social media platforms to commemorate this solemn anniversary. Instead of a written message, he posted a picture of a white dove, symbolizing remembrance and a wish for his late 3-year-old son to rest in eternal peace.
Recently, Davido and his wife, Chioma, were confirmed as the parents of a set of twins.
A trending video showed the couple leaving a hospital in the United States, with Davido’s father, Mr. Adedeji Adeleke, recording the moment.
In the video, Chioma was seen holding the twins, a boy and a girl, while being wheeled out in a wheelchair. Davido flashed a peace sign to the camera and had a joyful smile, marking a moment of happiness amid the remembrance of their late son.
