Lagos police arrest Sam Larry in connection with the death of Mohbad hours after he returns to Nigeria (Video)
The controversial socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command in connection with the passing of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the PRO of the Nigerian police, posted the information on the X app. On September 28, he said that the music promoter had been detained and was now supporting the inquiry into Mohbad’s death.
Sam Larry was apprehended and escorted to the main police station in Lagos after arriving in Nigeria from Kenya about 10 p.m. on Thursday, it has been revealed.
Recall that the police had already asked Sam Larry and singer Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, to be questioned regarding the death of Mohbad.
SP Benjamin, however, declared that Sam Larry was in their custody. “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody,” the writer stated. He is now supporting an ongoing investigation.
