Nigerian buzzing artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has officially signed with Def Jam Recordings, a prominent American record label.
The ‘Declan Rice‘ hitmaker, Odumodublvck, was warmly welcomed to Def Jam Recordings on September 14 in the United States.
Videos capturing his introduction as a Def Jam artist have rapidly gained traction on X (formerly Twitter), with numerous posts extending heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the rapper based in Abuja.
This significant move places Odumodublvck in the company of internationally renowned artists such as Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled, and Rihanna, among others. He also shares the label with fellow Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold, who joined Def Jam Recordings earlier this year.

In other news, Odumodublvck, has discredited Lagos as having any role in the development of his career because he thinks Abuja, not Lagos, is where he developed his sound.
There is no love in Lagos, according to the Declan Rice hitmaker, and nothing anyone can say can convince him otherwise. Odumodublvck claims Lagos hasn’t helped his career in any way.
Odumodublvck continues, “There is no love in Lagos, so I didn’t give Lagos any shout-out when I won the Headies Award.”
In another, Odumodu criticizes Lagosians, claiming they believe that Lagos is where everything begins and ends.
He said:
