A verbal offer for Salah was rejected by Liverpool, according to The Athletic. Director Mike Gordon was on the phone when the offer was made, and it was rejected right away.
Salah is not for sale, according to the Reds, who are still adamant about keeping him at Anfield. According to The Telegraph, the deal was worth £100 million ($126 million) plus an additional £50 million ($63 million) in add-ons.
Salah has emerged as an obvious target for the Saudi Pro League, who are expected to keep an eye on him as their transfer window stays open until September 7. After signing a new three-year contract with Liverpool last summer, the attacker is under contract until 2025.
