According to reports from The Athletic, Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement on the transfer of Harry Kane.

On Wednesday, Tottenham reportedly accepted a proposal from Bayern Munich, which is believed to be worth over €100 million (£86.4 million, $110 million).

The next step is for Harry Kane to make a decision on whether he will make the move to Bayern Munich or not.

Kane, who is 30 years old, was keen to have his future resolved before Tottenham’s season-opening match against Brentford on Sunday. He has reportedly been enjoying working under the new Spurs head coach, Ange Postecoglou, and has been leaning towards staying at the club.

However, it’s unclear how Kane will react to this latest development.

Tottenham is interested in extending Kane’s contract, as his current deal with the club has only 12 months left. The club is considering selling him during the current transfer window rather than risk losing him as a free agent next summer, as there has been no significant progress in contract negotiations.

Kane appears to be interested in a move to Bayern Munich, and the German club is keen on signing him. It’s been assumed all summer that Kane has no interest in negotiating with any other club during this transfer window.

The negotiations have continued because Kane has shown a strong desire to join the defending German champions, Bayern Munich.
