Nigerian afro-fusion superstar, Burna Boy, has sparked a social media frenzy by revealing who he will nominate for the role of President of Nigeria.
Burna recently had a live video session on Instagram with his fans, and one of his followers stated that the singer is qualified to be president.
Burna Boy instantly refuted the reports, claiming that he was not prepared for any additional stress on top of what he was currently dealing with.
He went on to recommend singer Shallipopi for the part, and he and his boys laughed uncontrollably in the video.
In his words: “Them say I go be president. Make una no try am. Una wan stress me pass like this? No o. Thank you. I nominate Shallipopi.”

In other news, Made Kuti, has taken to social media to address recent rumors regarding a supposed feud with Burna Boy over sample songs. The post, which originated from an unverified account on CNN, claimed that Made had called out Burna Boy for using samples in his music.
He quickly debunked the rumors, clarifying that he never made any such statements. He emphasized the importance of addressing the issue before it escalated further.
In a post on his Facebook platform, Made Kuti stated, “In the unlikely event this becomes something. It’s fake. Never posted this. If any musicians feel like it, sample to your heart’s content. Also, I don’t ‘scream out loud’.”
