Nigerian Fast-rising sensation Ugbekile David Osemeke, widely recognized as Boy Spyce has shared his motivations for blocking and despising Twitter influencers.

As platforms such as Twitter serve as a main marketing tool for musicians to get their music to a wider audience, social media has influenced how fans interact with music.

Mavin’s signee, who claimed in an interview that he blocked Twitter influencers because he doesn’t believe in paying people to push his songs, is one artist that doesn’t appear to believe in recruiting Twitter influencers.

In an interview with Cool FM, Boy Spyce reveals that musicians pay Twitter users to push their storylines and make them trend, even if the song isn’t amazing.

The Mavin prince claims that he has unwavering faith in his music and doesn’t believe in paying people to market his stories. Because he had no intention of ever paying Twitter influencers, this faith even drove him to block them all.

Boy Spyce, who had a successful 2023 with the release of his tracks ‘Folake’ and ‘Carry Me Go’ with Khaid, adds that his vision extends beyond the validation of influencers and social media.
