Serena Williams unveils gender of her unborn baby with drone display.
Renowned tennis champion and Olympic medalist Serena Williams recently made a spectacular announcement about the gender of her upcoming baby, revealing that she is expecting a baby girl in a unique drone display.
In a gender reveal party hosted by Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian, they used drones to create a breathtaking reveal of their second child’s gender. Their 5-year-old daughter, Olympia, was also part of this special moment.
Serena donned a pink and white outfit, clearly indicating her enthusiasm for having a baby girl. In a YouTube video of the baby shower and gender reveal, she humorously mentioned, “I’m a little nervous because I don’t have any contingency plan if it turns out to be a boy.” Despite some nerves, she expressed her excitement, acknowledging a hint of anxiety leading up to the big reveal.
Alexis took charge of the revelation and initially teased Serena by suggesting they’d use a cake for the reveal. He playfully commented in the video, “I came up with the most basic gender reveal idea, I don’t know if she’s going to be a professional about it.” However, he eventually disclosed that the reveal would involve drones.
The drone display lit up the night sky with the word “Girl,” painted in pink. The family and well-wishers in attendance erupted in applause and excitement, including Serena and Olympia.
In addition to the gender reveal, Serena and Alexis also made another announcement about their second child during the Met Gala.
Serena posted a carousel of photos on her verified Instagram account with the caption, “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.” This further delighted her fans and followers with the news of their growing family.
