The singer hit Milestone 100 million streams on the Boomplay platform.
Phillip Kayode Moses, the renowned Nigerian record producer, singer, and songwriter, widely known as Pheelz, has achieved a remarkable milestone by joining the Boomplay Golden Club, amassing over 100 million streams on the platform.
Pheelz was part of a group of producers who charted a new course in their careers by transitioning into recording artists, a trend that gained prominence in the music industry.
He now stands alongside esteemed artists such as Fireboy DML, Asake, Burna Boy, Joeboy, Ckay, and Olamide in the Boomplay Golden Club, distinguished by their impressive 100 million plus streams on the platform.
While Pheelz had identified as a recording artist before gaining widespread recognition, it was during the “Hear Me Out/Finesse” era that he truly came into the spotlight. He has not only made a name for himself as a celebrated producer but has also proven his mettle as a recording artist.
To further solidify his position, Pheelz recently received two prestigious trophies from Boomplay, recognizing his significant achievements on their platform.
One trophy was awarded for surpassing 100 million career streams on the platform, while the other celebrated his exceptional accomplishment of reaching 80 million streams for his hit track “Finesse” featuring Bnxn. Notably, Pheelz has become the first producer-turned-artist to attain this remarkable milestone.
Balancing success in both roles as a recording artist and record producer simultaneously is no small feat, yet Pheelz has managed to achieve this feat without compromising either aspect of his career. His accomplishment is indeed commendable.
