Davido Replies Tweep Regarding Performing At Stadium Like Wizkid.
Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Davido has responded to a tweet asking when he plans to shut down a stadium just like his colleague Wizkid recently did.
On Saturday (July 29, 2023), Nigerian superstar Wizkid became the first African musician to sell out London’s Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, which has over 70,000-audience capacity.
Since then, Nigerians have been applauding the celebrity and celebrating the phenomenal rise of Nigeria’s music industry—Afrobeats—on social media.
Amid the jubilation, a Nigerian user using “Topss” on Twitter tagged Davido in the tweet “Over to you David, stadium when @davido”?

Even though it took him several hours, Davido still responded, expressing his hope and prayer for the tweep’s long life and good health to see the day when he eventually closes a stadium. He also said that it wouldn’t be long.
He wrote: ‘I pray to God ur alive and healthy by then to witness … it won’t be long’.
