Portable’s wife prays for God’s protection over her husband following ghastly car accident.
Omobewaji Ewatomi, the wife of controversial artist Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has pleaded to God to keep her husband safe after he survived a horrific car accident.
Recall, Mp3bullet reported that Portable got involved in a horrific incident with his acquired G-wagon Brabus on Wednesday around the Osapa London axis of Lagos State.
The singer confirmed the incident in a video posted on his social media page, recounting what happened leading up to it. He claimed he crashed the automobile on the way to the studio in the rain.
But the Zazuu singer boasted that he would get a new one and that nothing would happen to destroy his life. He exhorted his followers to join him in giving thanks to God and promised that the proceeds from his song would enable him to purchase a private plane and ten times as many cars.
The popular singer captioned the video; “Today is an opportunity to do better than yesterday. If we try today, if today no work, we go try tomorrow. Aje! Who get God no dey carry last. Akoi Grace wey no dey disgrace. Eyin fans make una help me thank God.
“I will replace this and buy another car. The hustle that bought me that car will buy me another one. I am just getting started. Nothing and nobody can ruin my life. I bought a car and people used their bad mouth to destroy it. They wanted it to kill me but that car did not kill me.
“I was driving it in the rain on my way to the studio. Music is business and inside this business, I will see money to buy a jet and build a house in Osapa London in Lekki.
“I saw death. I left the car and said I still need my life because I still have many things that I want to do. I am God’s messenger and no death can kill me. They took the car but cannot take my life. Only God can say yes and no”.
After the car accident, Omobewaji took to her Instagram page to pray for God to keep her husband safe and to lead him to always achieve success so that he can be a gift to others.
She wrote; “Dear Lord,🤲🤦♀️I pray that my husband will always be happy😄and healthy. I pray that he will find success in all that he does, and that he will be a blessing to others. I also pray for your protection over him, that he may always be safe from harm. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
