Real Madrid have confirmed that Dani Ceballos has signed a new four-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Toni Kroos has extended his contract, Luka Modric plans to stay, and Jude Bellingham’s transfer from Borussia Dortmund is now official. The midfielder’s previous term was set to expire at the end of the month, and he had been predicted to depart the Spanish capital in search of regular game time.
However, Los Blancos revealed on Friday that Ceballos had signed a new contract.
Real Madrid said in a statement: “Real Madrid CF and Dani Ceballos have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains linked to the club until June 30, 2027.
“Dani Ceballos has played for Real Madrid in 120 games over four seasons, in which he has achieved 11 titles: two European Cups, three Club World Cups, two European Super Cups, one League, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.
“Dani Ceballos has been international with Spain on 13 occasions. And he was European champion with the Spanish under-19 and under-21 teams.”
Ceballos unexpectedly made 46 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions in 2022–23, however most of them were as a substitute.
