Singer Wutah Kobby claims that because he thinks the past doesn’t matter in the present, he doesn’t want to be remembered once he is gone.

According to a report from News Report, the legendary musician stated during a recent interview on Property FM that he preferred people focus on the present rather than dwell in the past after his passing.

He was quite clear that he wanted everyone to appreciate and comprehend the moment.

“I don’t want to be remembered when I’m gone, but if I were to be remembered, it would be for bringing happiness. Through my music and lifestyle, I have always aimed to spread joy to those around me. However, I don’t want people to become fixated on the past,” Kobby shared during the interview.

He continued by saying that many people have a difficult time letting go of their overpowering sense of recollection and imagination, which keeps them from completely enjoying the present.

Daniel Morris Nyarko is Wutah Kobby’s true name. He is a native of Kwahu-Obomeng, which is in Ghana’s Eastern Region.

He was born and reared in Accra, the capital of Ghana, where he also finished his secondary education before moving on to Takoradi Polytechnic to earn an HND in building engineering.

In order to compete in the first Nescafe African Revelation, Wutah Kobby’s put together a team with two other individuals, and they came in second.

Anamontuo, Burning Desire, and Selfless Bliss are the singer’s three most recent albums. Peevee contributed to the writing of the first two albums. Additionally, he currently holds the position of vice president of the Ghana Association of Songwriters.
