Fuel Scarcity: ‘I’m going back’, Tiwa Savage laments moment after arriving Nigeria.
Tiwa Savage, a well-known singer from Nigeria, has expressed her regret for the fuel scarcity that has returned as a result of President Bola Tinubu’s plan to remove subsidies.
On May 29, during his inauguration speech, Tinubu declared that subsidies will be abolished under his rule.
Soon after, fuel lines started forming at gas stations, and some people started stockpiling gasoline.
Tiwa Savage, who just returned from vacationing in Brazil, has expressed her frustration with the fuel shortage and other concerns on her social media pages.
The ‘All Over‘ singer said that when she returned home, there was a fuel shortage and an epileptic power supply.
She also lamented the fact that a terrible road had damaged one of her car’s tires.
The singer of “Koroba” said that due to the difficulty in Nigeria, she would avoid social media and begin making plans to return to Brazil.
Taking to her Instastory, Tiwa wrote; “Literally less than an hour back in Naija and one of my car tyres gone. Other car now in the queue for fuel. Issue with electricity in my house.
“I’m logging off and going back to where I came from because…”
