I am now a fully Nigerian artiste, Ghana music is just full of kpinini – Singer Shatta Wale.
Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist Shatta Wale set the record right in a recent video when he revealed himself to be a Nigerian.
During an Instagram live session with his fans and followers, the musician shocked everyone by making this unexpected disclosure.
In the video, Shatta Wale claims that Nigerian artists are far superior to Ghanaian artists and claims that the latter has not advanced musically.
Shatta Wale used the production of beats in the Nigerian music industry as an illustration, stating that these rhythms are well-compressed and constantly on point in contrast to Ghanaian beats, which are often “Kpinini Kpinnini.”
He also advises Ghanaian musicians to cease competing with Nigerian musicians since they lack the authority and should instead focus on improving their talent.
He pointed out that Jamaica has a smaller population than Ghana but performs better than them in terms of music, coming to the conclusion that the country’s population is full of adolescent “pregnancy and unwanted birthing.”
“I am now a fully Nigerian artist, Nigerian artists are way better than us, Ghana music is just full of kpinini” – Shatta Wale said
