‘Calm Down’ by Rema enters 38th week on UK Official Singles Chart.
“Calm Down” by Nigerian Afrobeat artist Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema has maintained its strong performance on the UK Official Singles Chart.
Rema’s “Calm Down” is leading the way for African music globally as it continues to top charts on many continents, making it the most successful international hit for Afrobeats.
The sole African song in the top 10 of the most recent UK Official Singles chart (Week 19 May 2023 – 25 May 2023) is “Calm Down” by Rema. It makes an appearance at No. 7, falling two spots from No. 5 the previous week as it enters its 38th week on the chart.
As it enters its 20th week, Libianca’s “People” takes a significant tumble, dropping from NO. 4 last week to NO. 18 this week.
