    Nigerian Afrobeat artist Stanley Omah Didia, known professionally as Omah Lay, has hinted at the possibility of releasing one of his first songs of 2023 with his new video on social media.

    The singer recently released a video of him freestyling, which raised the question of whether it would be his first release of the year. The anticipation for the deluxe version of ‘Boy Alone,’ probably one of the best projects of 2022, is building, and Omah Lay has teased more music in 2023.

    Many people can’t wait for Omah Lay to release a single in 2023 after his song “Soso” topped the charts and received over 10 million listens across all digital streaming platforms.

    As you may remember, the award-winning artist spoke about his depression a few weeks back and revealed how it got worse after he had a sexual relationship with his therapist.

    He also sang about being depressed in his hit song, “Soso” off his debut album Boy Alone, which was released last year.

    During an interview, the singer revealed how depression inspired his “Boy Alone” debut album.

    The musician, who has demonstrated a love for Twitter on the Bluebird social network, spoke out about the feelings that inspired his debut studio album in a tweet.

    According to the singer, he was psychologically unstable and intended to end his life. Omah Lay said;

    “Boy Alone might BE the last time y’all will hear me cry on a song, On G I was dead ass down, insecure, scared, depressed, loosing my Mind Like I was literally gonna kill myself.”
