I’m overwhelmed – Davido tells fans over the success of the Timeless concert.
Nigerian singer, Davido has conveyed his appreciation to his supporters for the massive turnout at his Lagos Timeless concert.
The event was staged in Onikan’s Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), and the entire state came to a halt for the musician.
Davido warmed many hearts with songs from his latest album, which included new signees and other young voices.
In an Instagram video, the father of three praised his supporters for their outpouring of love and unequalled excitement for the show.
Davido responded to his fans’ adoration by announcing his upcoming global tour.
“LAGOS LAST NIGHT YOU WERE TRULY TIMELESS! The energy was everything we could have imagined and more.
“I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Big love to everyone who came out.
“Y’all know we have to take this energy around the whole world. Global tour announcement coming soon!”, he wrote.

Davido, Nigeria’s Afrobeats musician and label head, brought his “Timeless Concert” to Lagos, the city that never sleeps, two years after his “A Decade Of Davido” show.
The event, which was a much-anticipated detour from his globe tour, was hosted by the duo of actor and digital creator Mr Macaroni and actress KieKie at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).
The evening began with performances from the current crop of stars forging a niche for their sounds on an intricately built and highly lit stage.
Khaid, Majeeed, Spyro, Odumodublvck, and Starboy Terri delighted the audience with their various tunes.
Iyanya had the concertgoers singing along to his hit single “Mr Oreo.” May D and B-Red also performed their classics in front of teeming fans.
