Davido opens up on not paying tribute to Ifeanyi on his album.
Afrobeats hitmaker, Davido has revealed why he did not pay a song tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi on his recently released studio album, ‘Timeless’.
The singer, who organized a press conference yesterday to announce his preparedness for his forthcoming concert at eth Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) explained he did not want any sad songs on the project.
He stated that his main goal was to release a classic album with minimal or no emotional songs to prevent fans from becoming emotional following the loss of his son.
He explained that he has always been a happy person, regardless of what he may be going through and if sad songs are to come, then it will be an entirely different project on its own as he never had plans of combining them.
In the said press conference, Mp3bullet had disclosed the singer’s plans to unveil a deluxe version to his recent project, which also serves as his fourth studio album later this year.
