Fast-rising Nigerian artist Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon professionally known as Khaid has revealed the kind of job he did before Sydney Talker discovered and signed him.
In an interview on EchoRoom, the artist revealed this information when revealing how he was discovered and shared his grass-to-grace story
Khaid has revealed that he used to be a mechanic before Sydney Talker discovered and signed him.
The singer of “Jolie” claimed during the interview that popular skit maker Sydney Talker found him on Instagram, where he often shared his freestyle videos.

Khaid described how he was signed, saying that after getting the DM from Sydney, he was called to his home where he produced roughly five trap songs in his in-home studio.
He noted that it was when he was about to leave that Sydney told him ‘you’re signed’. He became the first musician signed to Neville Records in this way.
Khaid further said that, prior to receiving the DM from Sydney Talker, he was working as a mechanic.
