Burna Boy sends warning to INEC over Nigerian elections

Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy has cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to do the correct thing.

Nigerians flocked to the polls in large numbers on February 25, 2022, to actively participate in the 2023 presidential, senate, and house of representatives elections.

The exercise which took place on Sunday, February 26th, witnessed a massive turnout of voters, including some of the entertainment industry’s top personalities including Falz, Patoranking, Ladipoe, P-Square, and a plethora of others.

Burna Boy who didn’t partake in the electoral process aired his thoughts from afar.

The Port Harcourt singer advised INEC not to allow itself to be used as a weapon for electoral manipulation or rigging in 2023.

He urged the electoral body to accept the choice made by the voters who turned out in large numbers to vote in the presidential and National Assembly elections on February 25.

He gave the note of warning via his social media page after being called out by Nigerians who expected him and his colleagues to lend their voice to the demand for free and fair elections.

Burna said; “Let Nigeria decide o! @inecnigeria. No try any result magic”.
