Mp3bullet.ng presents the artists with the most Grammy Awards wins ever.

Since the first GRAMMYs were given out in 1957, thousands of musicians have been honoured for their work in the 86 categories that honour the finest in pop, rock, R&B, jazz, rap, Latin, classical, musical theatre, and more.

One GRAMMY victory can boost an artist’s reputation and propel their career forward, but others have gathered 10, 20, and even 30 GRAMMY victories over the course of their careers. Ever wondered who these distinguished Grammy Award winners are? Look nowhere else.

Mp3bullet.ng has produced a list of the greatest GRAMMY winners ever.

    Beyonce- 32

    Beyonce

When Beyonce won the GRAMMY for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for her 2022 album, Renaissance, she made history by becoming the musician with the most GRAMMY wins — ever — at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Beyoncé has received a total of 32 GRAMMY awards.

She has more nominations than any other artist in Grammy history (tied with her husband Jay-Z). She also holds the record for most grammy wins by a woman in a single year (six, tied with Adele).

    Georg Solti- 31

    Georg Solti

In addition to having 31 GRAMMY Awards to his name, the late conductor Georg Solti also holds the record for the most victories in the classical genre. The most recent award Solti received was for Best Opera Recording in 1997 for Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.

    Quincy Jones- 28

The 10 artists with the most Grammy Awards ever.
    Quincy Jones

Quincy Jones’ GRAMMY career as a musician, arranger, and producer encompasses more than ten genres, including children’s music, jazz, pop, rap, R&B, and more. Quincy Jones most recently won the Best Music Film award at the 61st GRAMMY Awards. Additionally, he is one of just 15 musicians to have won the GRAMMY Legend Award.

    Alison Krauss- 27

    Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss is the female performer with the most honours in the country music genre. Krauss shares 14 of her victories with her nearly 30-year-long backing band, Union Station.

    Chick Corea- 27

    Chick Corea

With 27 GRAMMY Awards to his name as a solo artist, musician and composer Chick Corea presently holds the record for most jazz GRAMMY awards. Additionally, Corea has won four Latin GRAMMY Awards for his Latin jazz piano compositions and arrangements.

    Pierre Boulez, 26

    Pierre Boulez

French composer Pierre Boulez received multiple awards in the classical, symphonic, and opera genres. At the age of 90, he passed away in 2016.

Pierre Boulez won Grammys for conducting the works of notable 20th-century composers like as Bela Bartók, Alban Berg, and Claude Debussy. The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Boulez in 2015.

His final win was for Best Small Ensemble Performance for “Boulez: Le Marteau Sans Maître, Dérive 1 & 2” in 2005.

    Vladimir Horowitz- 25

The 10 artists with the most Grammy Awards ever.
    Vladimir Horowitz

The late renowned pianist and composer Vladimir Horowitz won Grammy Awards in each of the decades from the 1960s to the 1990s. He also received the Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1990, and five of his recordings have been inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame.

    Stevie Wonder- 25

    Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder, who is no stranger to the GRAMMY stage, is the only musician in GRAMMY history to win five or more awards on three different occasions.

In addition to being one of the most celebrated artists in Grammy history, Stevie Wonder is also one of a select few people to have won Album of the Year three times, for “Innervisions” in1973, “Fulfillingness’ First Finale” in1974, and “Songs in the Key of Life” in 1976.

    John Williams- 25

    John Williams

Although John Williams is most renowned for his work in movies, the recording academy has shown more appreciation for him than the motion picture academy. His Grammy accolades, which include wins for “Jaws,” “Star Wars,” “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” “Schindler’s List,” and many other films, overwhelm his five Oscars.

    Jay Z- 24

The 10 artists with the most Grammy Awards ever.
    Jay Z

Jay Z has been a strong presence in hip hop since earning his first award, Best Rap Album for “Vol. 2…Hard Knock Life,” in 1998.

The 52-year-old, however, has never received an award in one of the Big Four categories (Album, Record and Song of the Year, plus Best New Artist).

Furthermore, he has only taken home one award outside of the rap and R&B genres: Best Music Video for his collaboration with Justin Timberlake on “Suit and Tie.”
