Afropop singer, Tems has won her first-ever Grammy award at the 2023 award ceremony held at the Arena in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old Afrobeats singer, on Sunday, won the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her role in ‘Wait for U’, a 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.
Meanwhile, Burna Boy lost his categories: the ‘Best Global Music Album’ and the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ categories.
American Trevor Noah was the host of the show for the third year running.

Earlier, the singer was spotted with international acts, Jay Z and his wife, Beyonce at the Roc Nation Brunch, pre-grammy.
The pre-Grammy brunch was held at a private residence in Bel-Air, Los Angeles.
