    Nigerian singer, Omah Lay has sent a message to fans as he hints at being away for a while.

    The singer via his Instagram story wrote to his fanbase that angels are supposed to fly and that when fans don’t get to hear from him in a while, they shouldn’t worry about him.

    According to him, he is taking a break to work on his ‘wings’ which might imply that he is working on his music.

    In his words;

    “Angels are suppose to fly. So when you don’t see or hear from me in a while just know that I’m somewhere working on my wings.”

    Fans are still anticipating the release of the song he previewed last month as he prepares for the release of the deluxe edition of his debut album, “Boy Alone.”

    Omah Lay’s debut album, “Boy Alone,” was released in July 2022 and met with both critical and financial acclaim.

    One of the album’s tunes, ‘Soso,’ has also been gaining traction in recent weeks, hitting No. 3 on TurnTable Top 100.

    Omah Lay has repeatedly hinted at a deluxe edition of the album, which he believes would be released in 2023. While there is no set release date, the project might be why he is taking a break.
