“The new Haaland” comes to Chelsea! Blues officialize David Datro Fofana of Molde transfer.
Chelsea Football Club have confirmed a deal has been agreed for David Datro Fofana to move to Stamford Bridge in January.
Chelsea have reached a pre-agreement with Molde for the transfer of the 20-year-old striker in a £10.5million deal. He will join the Blues on 1 January 2023. Fans are highly looking forward to welcoming David to the club.
Graham Potter’s side has moved to strengthen their attack by signing the youngster from Erling Haaland’s former club Molde for a fee of £11 million ($12m). Fofana shone in 2022, scoring 15 goals and assisting five times in 24 games for Molde, and will now look to make an impression in west London.
The Blues have taken action to strengthen their attacking options after Armando Broja was forced to miss the remainder of the season due to a catastrophic knee injury. Along with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz, Fofana will provide Potter with another offensive option.
