Wizkid, real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is again in the spotlight for his suya obsession after being extremely kind to its supplier.
A video of the More Love, Less Ego star giving a suya vendor roughly $400 in bills went viral on social media.
True fans who are quite familiar with Wizkid’s favourite food will know that the singer loves suya and will pay anything to get it.
The artist blessed a Mai Suya, a man who sells grilled/steaked meat, by paying him more than the actual price.
Big Wiz paid the suya vendor $400 (N179,0000) for a suya that cost him less than $20 (N9,000).
In the viral video, Wizkid can be seen making his purchase and then counting out what appears to be $400 from a stack of $100 bills.
The incredibly appreciative suya vendor went out for the cash and bowed his head in respect as spectators cheered Wizkid.
Big Wiz’s entourage who was in the background with some fans could be heard hailing him saying; starboy!!!
