Yinka Ayefele, a seasoned gospel musician, recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of his survival in a car accident.
Recall that Yinka Ayefele was forced to use a wheelchair as a result of a terrible car accident that occurred on December 12, 1997.
Today, December 12, 2022, is the 25th anniversary of his survival in the tragic incident.
Ayefele showed old images of the severely damaged Volkswagen Beetle that was involved in the collision that forced him into a wheelchair and described it as his “turning point.”
The husband and father of three conveyed his thankfulness to God and encouraged his supporters to do the same.
Sharing the pictures, the singer wrote in the caption:
“It’s exactly 25 years ago today.. Just keep thanking God on my behalf…It Was on the 12th of December 1997. My Turing point.. I shall forever be grateful to the owner of my destiny.”

Ayefele began his music career in 1997 after he was involved in an automobile accident with his spinal cord and confined him to a wheelchair.
While in the hospital after spending there about nine months, his friend, Kola Olootu visited and advised him to put some songs together.
This suggestion resulted in the release of his debut album titled: ‘Bitter Experience’ in 1998 which brought him to limelight.
