The cause of Ben White’s departure from the England World Cup team.
Ben White left England’s World Cup squad early, and the reason why has been publicly revealed.
According to a statement released by the Football Association at the time, the Arsenal defender left the training facility late on November 30 for personal reasons.
Despite making an impression at Arsenal to earn a spot in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad, White was released after appearing in none of England’s three group-stage games, and no replacement has been named.
The Star now asserts that White had issues managing the team of players and that his dismissal followed an alleged altercation with assistant manager Steve Holland in front of the team. They allegedly got into a fight because White didn’t know some of his statistics.

Under Southgate and Holland, White has had difficulty cracking the starting lineup for England.
Since his debut last year, he has played four times for his country, and he was later named to the Euro 2020 team. He was never used as a substitute during the competition.
Reports of squad disharmony have been present at the World Cup so far. Cristiano Ronaldo was dropped from Portugal’s starting XI for the 6-1 victory over Switzerland but later denied he had threatened to leave the camp after criticism from manager Fernando Santos.
White continues to be a key player for Arsenal despite seeing little action for the Three Lions. Prior to the break, he made 14 appearances in the Premier League and contributed two assists while the Gunners were in the first place.
Raheem Sterling missed England’s victory over Senegal in the round of 16 because he had to leave the England camp and go home after his house was broken into. The Chelsea winger is anticipated to reassemble with the group in Qatar prior to Saturday’s quarterfinal matchup with France.
