Rocky Dawuni bemoaned the lack of show bookings he receives from event planners.
Rocky Dawuni, a three-time contender for a Grammy Award, has bemoaned the inability of Ghanaian event organizers to schedule him for performances despite his widespread reputation.
The international reggae musician from Ghana is perplexed that promoters don’t look for him despite the fact that he has three Grammy nominations and has lived in Ghana for the past four years.
Rocky Dawuni told Nhyira FM in Kumasi that he thinks the reason the event organizers won’t pay him is that they don’t have the money.
Rocky Dawuni said: “Someone asked the same question, and I told them I have no control over whether or not the event organizer will book me.”
