Burna Boy’s “Last Last” breaks a new African record.

In Burna Boy’s camp, it seems like there are never-ending successes and honours to be had. The megastar has now added yet another accomplishment from his worldwide hit song “Last Last” to this torrent.
This follows a report sighted by Mp3bullet.ng which revealed that the singer’s song “Last Last” was the most streamed song in Sub-Saharan Africa on Apple Music for the year 2022.
This big reveal comes after Apple Music released its end-of-the-year lists detailing the top 100 songs in Nigeria, Ghana and globally.
“Last Last” had featured on the number two spot on Apple Music’s Nigeria list as well as Ghana. It is also the only song by a Nigerian act to make the global top 100 list on the streaming service.

In other news, Burna Boy creates history by announcing his 2023 Love, Damini London Stadium performance, which will make him the first-ever African performer to headline a stadium in the UK.

Burna, whose song Alone from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is presently at No. 1 on the Official Afrobeats Chart, will perform at the historic London Stadium on Saturday, June 3, 2023, promising a “legendary” performance.
It will also be his largest solo audience to date, with Burna Boy performing to a 60,000-strong crowd at West Ham Football Club’s home ground next summer.
Recently, Burna played headline shows to sold-out crowds at Wembley Arena, in November 2019, and at The O2 Arena, in London in August 2021.
Burna Boy announces his London Stadium show in partnership with promoters Robomagic Live and Coko Bar; the latter being the leading independent promoter for all top African artists who perform throughout Europe.
