Cody Gakpo opens up on ‘nice’ transfer links.
While insisting that he is now focusing entirely on the Netherlands‘ World Cup campaign, Cody Gakpo has acknowledged that he is flattered by rumours linking him to moves to Europe’s top clubs.
Following summer negotiations, Mp3bullet has discovered that Manchester United is still interested in signing Gakpo, and he has also been mentioned as a target for Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
The 23-year-old has already scored twice for a Netherlands team that is close to securing qualification for the knockout stages at the World Cup.
Speaking ahead of the Oranje’s final Group A clash with Qatar, Gakpo was asked about the regular transfer speculation.
