Singer 2baba shares cryptic post about the use of ‘people of colour’ phrase
-
2baba makes a strange post about the use of the phrase “people of colour.”
Innocent Idibia, better known by his stage as 2Baba, is baffled by the use of the catchphrase “people of colour” and has explained why.
The highly regarded musician highlighted in a mysterious post that the term is, in his opinion, “absolute bullsh*t” when used to designate any race or ethnicity other than Caucasian.
Without mentioning any names, 2Face shared his thoughts via his Instagram stories saying the phrase can only make sense is White is not a colour.
2Baba wrote:
“Unless we are all saying that WHITE is not a colour.
The idea of saying PEOPLE OF COLOUR is total bullsh*t to me.”

Meanwhile, Annie Idibia has responded to those who have attacked her legendary singer husband, 2Baba Idibia, over his birthday message to her.
The actress turned 38 on Sunday, November 13th, and her hubby posted a message of congratulations on social media.
The musician, however, received harsh criticism from fans for delivering a birthday message that was “devoid of love emoji and tenderness.”
He had captioned his post: “birthday blessings my Queen. Nothing do u” with a photo of Annie shared on his page.
Some of the fans claimed that Annie when commemorating 2Baba on his special day goes above and beyond to post heartfelt messages on social media in honour of his birthday.
However, others defended him, claiming that he is a man of few words and can only express himself through his music.
Responding to the criticism via the comment section of the post, Annie, who appeared seemingly unbothered over 2Baba’s short message, said she is officially deaf to naysayers.
