Davido fans organize a concert to celebrate his 30th birthday
Davido’s fans have announced plans to host a concert for their idol in Lagos.
Despite having grand preparations for his birthday, the singer of “Stand Strong” was unable to carry them out as a result of the untimely passing of his son.
However, the day would not pass without his well-wishers, including dignitaries, famous people, and admirers from all over the world congratulating and sending him love on his birthday.
The singer’s hordes of followers, known as the 30BGs, are preparing to honour their king in a few days.
The hashtag “#30BG,” which is presently trending on Twitter, is being used on various flyers to promote the next event.
According to one of the fliers, the event tagged ‘Davido Fans Concert 2022’ is scheduled to hold on Friday, November 25 at Eko Energy beside Eko Atlantic in Lagos.
The poster also indicates free entry for Baba Imade’s fans while guaranteeing maximum security.

Meanwhile, fans in Port-Harcourt held a mini-concert in honour of Davido. In a viral video posted on Twitter, fans could be seen singing his popular song, “If” excitedly.

Recall that Davido postponed his A.W.A.Y festival which was slated to take place on November 18, 2022 to 2023.
The festival has been postponed due to the death of Davido’s son Ifeanyi, according to the management, who also stated that the musician needs time with his family.
Davido had for weeks, been promoting the festival-themed “A.W.A.Y. (Are We African Yet?)” with the latest post being in October.
