Chelsea and England defender Reece James will miss World Cup in Qatar due to injury.
Due to an injury, Reece James will be absent from the World Cup in Qatar. After discussions with Gareth Southgate on Tuesday, it was decided the Chelsea full-back has not recovered sufficiently from the knee injury he picked up against AC Milan last month.
In an effort to be fit for Qatar, James travelled to Dubai for a rigorous rehabilitation program. Recently, he had even been making some tentative strides at Chelsea’s Cobham training facility.
