Made Kuti earns a Grammy Nomination Medal for his first album, ‘Legacy+.’
Made Kuti receives a Grammy nominee medal in honour of his nomination for the Grammys’ Best Global Music Album category.
The 27-year-old musician posted a video of himself wearing the medal and a certificate the Recording Academy had given him and his father, Femi Kuti, for the 64th Grammy Awards.
Many of his followers bombarded him with compliments and congratulations after seeing the post in which he tagged Femi Kuti, Partisan Records, and the Recording Academy.
He wrote;
“Look what I got for my first album. Thank you @femikuti @partisanrecords @recordingacademy”

In other news, his father, Femi Kuti has been made a Knight.
Over the weekend in France, the singer of “Sorry Sorry” received the honorary title of Chevalier de l’Ordre d’Arts et Lettres or Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters.
Femi received the honour while attending the Rebellion Afrobeat exhibition of Afrobeat music in Paris, France.
In his thank-you address, Kuti expressed gratitude to the organisers while pleading with France and world leaders to reverse their unfavourable attitudes toward Africa and its countries.
