Wizkid Reacts To Blaqbonez’s Plea On Instagram
Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, has responded to a private message that Blaqbonez wrote to him on Instagram.
The Grammy-nominated musician, whose follow-up to the critically acclaimed and commercially successful “Made in Lagos” album, “More Love, Less Ego,” is scheduled to be released on October 29th, mocked Blaqbonez’s request on Instagram.
Blaqbonez already revealed that his sophomore album “Young Preacher” will be released on Friday, October 28th, 2022, and today, October 25th, 2022, Big Wiz uploaded a photo of himself with the phrase “3 Days,” leading Blaqbonez to believe that the Afrobeats poster-boy might be releasing his highly awaited album on the same day as his.
The jovial Wizkid shared the conversation on his Instagram and jokingly regarded Blaqbonez as a “mad man” and went on to share the tracklist of Blaqbonez’s upcoming album on his page.
Recall that Mp3bullet.ng reported that Blaqbonez told his followers that nothing can stop his album from being released on Friday.
This came after the official tracklist for the album was made available two days earlier. According to a Tweet from the Back in Uni singer, his album will be released on that day regardless of any other artists who chose to do the same.
He tweeted;
my album drops friday, even if Drake, Kanye, Wizkid, Beyonce, Micheal Jackson, Rihanna, Davido, Vic O, Madonna, Justice league, Super man, Dr Strange,leanardo dicaprio, Lewis Hamilton,Valentino rossi, Peter Obi, Ecclesiastes, Socrates, spinall all decide to drop albums that day.
However, apparently, Wizkid’s apparent project release seems to scare the rapper.
