    British singer and songwriter Edward Christopher Sheeran, popularly known as Ed Sheeran, has revealed his biggest Afrobeats song and the best-selling record in England.

    Ed Sheeran has said that his collaboration with Nigerian musician, Fireboy DML, is the biggest Afrobeats song in the world.

    The multi-award-winning artiste was talking about the remix of Fireboy’s hit single, Peru and how he felt working on the project.

    While giving a radio interview on The Breakfast Club, Ed Sheeran made the claim and said that “Peru” is the best-selling record in England.

    According to the music star cum actor, sadly, the friend who linked him up with the Nigerian Afrobeats singer passed away in February. He also said that the “Peru” remix is the second biggest-selling song of the year, and he never knew that it would be as big as it has become.

    Recall, The afrobeats star’s smash single “Peru,” which features Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist Ed Sheeran recently got platinum certification in the United Kingdom.

    The song, which is now a British-certified platinum single, has sold over six hundred thousand (600,000) units in the United Kingdom.
