Burna Boy achieves new Spotify milestones with his ‘African Giant’ album.
Nigerian Grammy award-winning artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, has bagged a new Spotify record with his “African Giant” album.
The singer has made a name for himself as one of the biggest performers in the world and as Africa’s top export after the release of his “African Giant” project.
Burna Boy’s 2019 album, ‘African Giant’, has reached 600 million streams on Spotify. This new landmark ‘African Giant’ reached made Burna the first African artist to have an album reach 600 million streams on Spotify.
The top songs on the album with the most streams are: On The Low, Gbona, and Anybody. Odogwu is one of the biggest African artists ever. The 31-year-old has broken records and sold millions of records worldwide.

In 2021, he became the first Nigerian artist to win a solo Grammy award. The Grammy award-winning album by Burna Boy was ‘Twice As Tall’, released in 2020.
